• we do not recommend application to freshly painted walls. the paint must cure for 30 days prior to ensure correct adhesion is achieved.
• it is not advisable to install our removable wallpaper on brick walls or those with a textured surface. best results and adhesion are achieved on the smoothest surface possible.
• we do not recommend application outside, in wet rooms or humid areas such as bathrooms, laundries or on kitchen splash-backs.
• if you are wanting to apply our wallpaper to a wall that has been painted with wash and wear or teflon paint, we recommend using viponds self adhesive prep coat primer first to ensure the best adhesion.
• for safety reasons, we advise against installing removable wallpaper above or around a child’s bed/cot.

boom room cannot guarantee that under any and/ or all circumstances, the wallpaper will stay completely intact, that the adhesive will not remain on the wall after removal or that the wall paint/ surface will not be damaged upon removal of the product. we also cannot guarantee against fading from the sun or bubbling during installation. see our installation instructions for tips to remove bubbles.

the actual longevity of removable wallpaper on your wall depends on many variables. these include wall preparation, the type and age of paint that was on the wall, the amount of heat, sun & light it is exposed to, excessive humidity and other environmental factors.
