boom room uses self-adhesive, removable wallpaper printed in our melbourne factory. we print with latex ink on phototex which is a strong, peel and stick, polyester fabric, adhesive material.
wallpaper installation is an artform that has been happening for over 500 years.
IT IS HARD.
therefore, we strongly advise contacting one of our recommended installers who are part of the boom room fam & know our product well, to do your project.

but, if you are keen to enter your DIY era & want to have a crack yourself, go for it. it isn’t easy but we have all the tools & info you need to get it done. all wallpaper orders will be supplied with an instruction sheet + squeegee.
are your walls suitable for removable wallpaper application?
our wallpaper will not stick to textured walls, and we don’t recommend application to walls above fireplaces.

Test the wallpaper in your space by ordering a sample of your chosen design here.
measure the wall width from left to right, then measure the height from floor to ceiling, including skirting boards and architraves.

if you are wallpapering two or more adjoining walls, you will need to order the total width of the walls to ensure the pattern is continuous across the space. do this by measuring the width of each individual wall and add together for total width. you will then need the floor to ceiling height at highest point.

for walls with windows, air conditioners, doors etc that you are not wanting to cover, simply measure the wall as normal, as if those items are not there. this is the easiest way to ensure a seamless pattern over the entire wall. when installing the wallpaper you will need to trim around those objects.
as mentioned in our terms & conditions, all wallpaper is printed to order and therefore we cannot accept any returns for refund or exchange. please make sure you measure as accurately as possible and double check your measurements.
if you need to order extra wallpaper, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match when not printing on the same day.
