before starting hellomaë, i worked as a fashion designer for a well-known australian brand. after years in the industry, i felt the pull to create something more personal — something that celebrated joy, colour, and everyday beauty. i began focusing on textile print design, and quite by accident, i found myself painting on ceramics too — a happy accident that became a huge part of my creative world.
i launched hellomaë in march 2024, and it’s been wonderfully busy ever since. based in melbourne, hellomaë brings together hand-built, delightfully wonky ceramics with matching textiles, accessories, and clothing. each piece is inspired by gardens from around the world — from backyard blooms to wildflowers and homegrown vegetables — celebrating the imperfect beauty of nature in everyday life.
all ceramics, textiles, and accessories are made locally in small batches, while clothing is produced ethically overseas by an audited company known for its excellent working standards and commitment to sustainability.
at its heart, hellomaë is about slow making, slow fashion, and thoughtful design — pieces made with care and love, each carrying its own charming little story to make ordinary moments feel special.
